The past year has been one of the most amazing of my entire life, living the dream and working for one of my best friends, Michael Laverty, in the MotoGP paddock for Paul Bird Motorpsort, but all good things must come to an end. As has been previously released, PBM is returning to the British Superbike Championship, full time, and Michael has signed on with Tyco Suzuki for the 2015 BSB season. All the changes had left me without a gig for the new year, although I’ve been weighing more than a few options, which I will be sharing in the coming weeks, but I can’t tell just yet. However, one thing that I can share is that this weekend, my family and I, my wife Michele and our daughter Grace are moving back home to Jacksonville, Florida. We have movers here today and we’ve been busy packing everything into boxes that will be loaded into a shipping container, with all of our belongings spending the next few weeks on a slow boat across the Atlantic Ocean. We’ve got a great house, Michele will have a couple weeks off before she starts her new job and Gracie begins school on tuesday.  After spending the better part of 2-1/2 years in Europe, living in Luxembourg and me, touring with the MotoGP circus, we’re really excited to be back home in Florida, close to the beach and back in touch with the Florida and Southeast racing scene!

While my hand tools will still be somewhere on the Atlantic until mid February, I’ll be partnering with my old racing buddy, Steven Breckenridge, who owns and runs Fluidology. I am investing in a dyno, and together, we’ll be offering suspension, tuning and engine building sevices. I’ll also be set up as a dealer for Orient Express, K-Tech Suspension and Adrenaline City Racing Hang-Dry suit dryers, too. While my tools won’t be back in the states in time to build motors for the Daytona 200, I will be available for consulting and working as a crew chief for the race and of course, I’ll be available to build and tune motors the CCS, WERA as well as the MotoAmerica championships. If you’re interested in working with me, my US phone will be on starting Monday at (904) 994-2551 and you can email me any time at WAMCycles@aol.com

Let’s get back to racing!
